On Wildly Delicious Season 2 Episode 6, we whipped up an easy bagel board for Mother's Day Brunch. We have two homemade cream cheese recipes and all the ingredients you need for a brunch board! Mom will be impressed and it won't take too much of your time! That's a win-win, right?
DIY Bagel Board
Board Ingredients
- 2-3 Bagel Varieties (plain or savory flavors)
- Chive + Garden Veggie Cream Cheeses (see side panel)
- Plain Cream Cheese
- Prosciutto or Smoke Salmon
- Onions
- Tomatoes
- Cucumbers
- Microgreens
- Chives
- Flowers and Herbs for styling
Directions
- Step One: Harvest chives, cherry tomatoes, mini peppers, and microgreens (approx 2 pods). Set aside.
- Step Two: Slice bagels and add to board.
- Step Three: Make two cream cheese recipes and add to mini bowls. Add plain cream cheese to mini bowl. Position on the board in three different corners.
- Step Four: Slice veggies and chives, and position them on the board. Add microgreens and chives to small ramekins and add to board.
- Step Five: Harvest flowers and/or herbs to place around the board to style.
- Step Six: Serve and enjoy!
Homemade Chive Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions
- Step One: In a stand mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Step Two: Add in chives and onion powder. Scrape the sides to fully incorporate ingredients.
- Step Three: Place in a small bowl and enjoy.
Note: It can last in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
Homemade Garden Veggie Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup red and orange snackable peppers, finely diced
- 1/8 cup red onion, finely diced
- 4 cherry tomatoes, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
- Step One: Dice veggies and set aside.
- Step Two: In a stand mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper and mix.
- Step Three: Add vegetables and mix. Scrape the sides to fully incorporate ingredients.
- Step Four: Place in a small bowl and enjoy.
