While none of the chemicals in Rise Gardens nutrients are substances known to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity, some compounds or derivatives from them could be, including compounds or derivatives of nitrate, ammonium, and iron.

These substances are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
