Trial Terms and Conditions

Trial Overview

The Rise Gardens 60-day risk-free trial allows eligible customers to try a Rise Garden for 60 days for a non-refundable trial fee of $60. If the trial is not canceled before day 61, the remaining balance for the garden will be charged to the original payment method, with the $60 applied as a credit toward the end-of-trial purchase.

Eligibility

Offer available to first-time Rise Gardens customers only.
One trial per household. Orders exceeding this limit will be canceled.
Trial availability is limited based on supply.

Garden cancellation & Returns

  • Day 1 of the trial period is set for one week after the date of trial sign-up to account for shipping times. If your garden arrives more than one week after sign-up, we will extend your trial upon request. Please contact support@risegardens.com for assistance.
  • Customers may cancel the trial at any time before day 61 by visiting risegardens.com/pages/manage-trial.
  • If canceled, the garden must be cleaned, disassembled, and returned in its original packaging. Rise Gardens will provide a prepaid return label and assist in arranging FedEx pickup.
  • Any produce grown during the trial is the customer's to keep and should not be returned.
  • The return package must be received by the carrier within 14 days of cancellation. Late returns will incur a $100 late return fee.
  • Returns not received within 30 days of cancellation will result in a charge for the full garden price.
  • Returned gardens must be in good condition, with no missing parts or excessive damage beyond normal use. Gardens returned in unacceptable condition may incur additional refurbishing fees.

Charges & Payments

  • Only credit cards with at least six months of validity remaining are eligible for trial sign-up. Debit cards and gift cards are not accepted.
  • The trial fee is non-refundable.
  • If the trial is not canceled, the remaining balance for the garden will be charged on day 61.
  • The trial fee will be applied as a credit toward the final purchase price.
    Failure to return the garden and unsuccessful payment attempts may result in the balance being sent to collections.

Rise Plus Membership

  • The Rise Plus membership, normally $240 per year, is included for free during the trial period.
  • Membership benefits include free garden shipping, seasonal boxes of seeds and nutrients, a 15% discount on additional consumables and accessories, exclusive early access to new seeds, and more.
  • Customers may unenroll from Rise Plus at any time after signing up and before the end of the trial by visiting their trial management page.
  • On day 61, if the trial is not canceled, customers will be charged for both the remaining balance of the garden and the one-year Rise Plus membership unless they unenroll from Rise Plus before then, in which case only the remaining garden balance will be charged.
  • Rise Plus membership is a subscription that auto renews until cancellation.
  • A majority of new customers who buy our gardens upfront choose to sign up with Rise Plus, so we highly encourage you to enjoy the many perks of membership.

Additional Terms

  • Gardens provided for the trial are brand new unless otherwise specified.
  • The trial includes a selection of seeds and nutrients to support initial growing efforts. Productivity may vary, especially during the initial learning phase.
  • Rise Gardens reserves the right to modify or discontinue the trial offer at any time.
  • Rise Gardens is not responsible for damage to property resulting from improper setup, maintenance, or use of the garden.
  • Participation in the trial constitutes acceptance of these terms.
  • The trial offer is void where prohibited by law.
