This wild variety of arugula is the same bright green leaves that you would expect. However, this variety has a stronger flavor. It also has deeper lobes in the leaves than astro arugula, which make it have a distinct look.
This is our premier variety of wild arugula. Arugula can quickly turn bitter if left to over grow, so be sure to harvest when your leaves are 3-4". This plant does not do well with multiple harvests, so be sure to cut the whole plant when harvesting.
Diplotaxis tenuifolia is our organic wild arugula variety. This variety can be seen growing wild across the Italian countryside and now it can be found in your very own kitchen. This ancient variety of arugula is fondly remembered by many Italians because its sharp peppery taste and pungent leaves. These fantastic elements, that pack a bigger punch than common arugula, are what has made wild arugula rise in popularity among the best chefs. So when you grow this in your variety be sure to add it to any Italian dishes and be transported to the countryside.

"My daughters are young and I thought a smart garden would give us a fun learning tool. We received our garden today and I assembled it in an hour or less. Everything is running and ready!"
- Kathryn, Fort Worth, TX"We just started. Putting together the unit was not difficult. The instructions were perfect. Now we are growing. We had some questions and customer service was extremely helpful."
- T.D Merges, Michigan"I live in an area where the air quality is too toxic to safely grow food outdoors, so I knew an indoor garden would be the best way to go. I love the way my Rise garden looks in my modern loft."
