Your garden does most of the work. These short animations show you the rest, from seeding the nursery to the 6-month deep clean, plus how each level gets its own light. Every clip is built from the garden's own design files, so what you see matches the garden you own. The plants in them are illustrative.
Seeding starts the same way, on the base level.
Seed the nursery just as you would on the Personal Rise Garden: plain water, pods upright, cups clicked in, dome on. Set the nursery on a tray lid on the base level, under the lights. The base level has the tallest grow space in the garden, 17 inches. Your garden runs on plain water for about the first 2 weeks.
About 2 weeks in, your seedlings are ready for the garden.
Move them when the second set of leaves appears. The app reminds you when it's time. Transplant day is also when your garden gets its first nutrients.

Dissolve 1 teaspoon of dry Sprout in warm water for every gallon of water you're adding, and switch to Blossom once fruiting plants flower. Lift a service door on the left side of the garden and pour it in. It drains to the water tank in the cabinet. Add pH Balance as the app directs, and the pump carries the water up the supply line to the top tray so it trickles down through each level.
Every 6 months, set aside about an hour for a deep clean.
Take out the plants, lift off the tray lids and service doors, and add 2 cups of cleaning vinegar per level (6 cups for three levels). Let it circulate for 15 to 20 minutes while you scrub the trays, then unplug the garden and sweep the water to the drain on the left of each tray. Unplug the pump, lift out the supply line and slide out the tank to empty and scrub it, rinsing the supply line and filters as you go. Refill with a couple of gallons, reassemble, replant and run Care in the app.
A light for every level.
Each level has its own LED bar directly above it, so every plant on a level sits the same distance from its light. You get 17 inches of grow space on the base level, 11 in the middle and 12.5 on top. The lights run 16 hours on and 8 off by default, and you can change the schedule in the app. Each level has 65W of white, red and blue LEDs.
